About Kitab Jatra

Kitab Jatra is a premier literature festival in Nepal, providing a platform for promoting and celebrating Nepali literature, entrepreneurship, startups, economic discussions, and tourism through literature. The festival hosts renowned Nepali authors, poets, and international writers, fostering an environment of literary and intellectual discourse.

Since its inception in 2075 BS, Kitab Jatra has evolved into a much-awaited annual event, featuring 100+ speakers, multiple venues, and an audience of over 10,000 in just two days. It offers book launches, panel discussions, poetry recitals, author interactions, and networking opportunities for young and established writers alike.
